JC Epiphany Limited, a company registered in Jamaica, operates the JM Parcel Rate Calculator as a free public service. Privacy enquiries may be sent to contact@jcepiphany.com.
The calculator works without an account and does not ask for your name, email address, mailing address, parcel contents, or payment information. Calculations take place in your browser. JC Epiphany Limited does not receive or store the destination, parcel weight, selected service, or calculated result that you enter or view.
The Service is delivered through a third-party hosting provider. Like most website hosts, the provider may automatically process standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser headers, requested page, and request time, for delivery, reliability, and security. JC Epiphany Limited does not use these logs to profile users or combine them with calculation details. The provider may process information outside Jamaica and retains its logs according to its own policies.
The calculator does not set or read cookies, does not use browser local storage, and does not require sign-in.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect the Service against unauthorised access, alteration, or disruption. No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure or continuously available.
Subject to the Jamaica Data Protection Act 2020 and applicable exceptions, you may ask to be informed about applicable personal data processing, request access or correction, request restriction or cessation of processing, object to processing, and make a complaint. Because JC Epiphany Limited does not collect calculation details or direct identifiers through the Service, we generally cannot associate a calculation with a particular person.

The Service is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect direct identifiers from children.
We may update this Policy to reflect changes to the Service, our practices, or applicable law. The “Last updated” date above identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be displayed prominently where reasonably practicable.

By accessing or using the JM Parcel Rate Calculator (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is a free informational tool provided by JC Epiphany Limited to help users estimate domestic postal parcel rates and selected overseas Airmail, SAL, and Express rates. The Service does not sell postage, accept parcels, arrange delivery, or enter into a shipping contract on your behalf.
All results are estimates based on the rate information and calculation rules available to us. A result is not a binding quote, offer, guarantee, or representation by a postal operator, courier, or JC Epiphany Limited. Rates, service areas, weight bands, and service availability may change without notice. Always confirm the current price, eligibility, and conditions with your local post office or the relevant courier before shipping.
Displayed estimates may not include customs duties, taxes, insurance, fuel or remote-area surcharges, dimensional-weight charges, packaging, handling, prohibited-item fees, or other charges. You are responsible for confirming parcel dimensions, contents, documentation, customs requirements, prohibited or restricted items, and all applicable laws. Delivery times are estimates from the applicable provider, if shown, and are not guaranteed by us.
You may use the Service for lawful personal or business rate-estimation purposes. You must not misuse the Service; attempt unauthorised access; introduce malicious code; scrape, overload, or disrupt the Service; misrepresent results as guaranteed quotes; or use the Service in violation of applicable law.
Postal and courier services are provided by independent third parties whose rules and terms apply separately. References to DHL or any other third-party name or trademark identify a reported service provider only. All third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners. Such references do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or responsibility for this Service unless expressly stated.
Public rate information and third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. As between you and JC Epiphany Limited, the original application design, presentation, text, and source code are owned by JC Epiphany Limited or used under applicable permission. No ownership in third-party material is claimed. You may not reproduce or exploit protected portions of the Service except as permitted by law or with prior written permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation or that every error will be corrected.
To the fullest extent permitted by Jamaican law, JC Epiphany Limited and its directors, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or economic loss arising from or connected with the Service, including losses caused by inaccurate rates, unavailable services, delayed delivery, customs charges, or reliance on a result. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our liability will be limited only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes any right or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
You are responsible for decisions made using the Service and for independently verifying all shipping information before incurring costs or handing over a parcel.
We may update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms. The “Last updated” date identifies the latest revision. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision or any other right.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Subject to any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be restricted, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Jamaica.
